Law Society Guidance on New Contracts
08 October 2007 - Consultation News By: Gavin
At a meeting at Chancery Lane this afternoon the Law Society indicated that they would now issue guidance to the profession by close of business on Tuesday 9th October 2007 in relation to whether or not solicitors should sign the new General Crimina Contract. The precise wording of the guidance is being worked on overnight and colleagues should stand by.

Any solicitors who have already signed the new General Criminal Contract should immediately contact the Solicitors Regulatory Authority for further advice as to their professional position.
