I have been asked to represent a duty solicitor before a duty committee meeting who is appealing against suspension imposed after being arrested (but not charged ) for pervert course justice. He has been bailed to return. I believe the LSC have acted prematurely, does anyone know of any solicitors in a similar position who were allowed to remain on the rota while a police enquiry was underway?

Bit suspicious for a first post I wonder if this is asking for advice by a suspect. Generally speaking I would think it's sub judice but I could be wrong. I think the suspension would stay in place till after the police investigation and trial (if it happened).
